The family expanded young prodigy's artistic palette by recruiting her in 'Pakistan National Council Of The Arts'. Not surprisingly she peaked at her very first performance as a kid before a thousand strong in Liaqat Memorial Hall Pindi. A tiny star was born! The world of academia for the musical baby happened in Viqar-un-Nisa Noon Girls High School Pindi where Hadiqa excelled in every department. She represented Pakistan in International children festivals in Turkey, Jordan, Bulgaria, and Greece and was bestowed upon with top medals.
Hadiqa used to be the blue eyed girl of Sohail Rana's Rang Barangi Dunya; a weekly musical that further catalyzed her fire and passion for music. As an eighth grader the little gypsy made a nomadic move from birth place to Lahore. the city that served as an interesting Saga of her career.
Naya Aligar Public School was the next logical learning place. Later Kinnaird and Govt. College, two of Lahore's finest institutions bore testimonials to her fine academic record. The vocal angel had her first lark as a host for children music programme from LTV with Stalwarts such as Late Khalil Ahmed and Amjad Bobby. In a three and a half year long stint Hadiqa's repertoire exceeded a thousand sing along ditties for tiny lots. In the learning process professional tutoring of intricacies of classical by late maestro Faiz Ahmed Khan ensured that an inevitable obsession to sing balanced her grasp of musical theory.
Hadiqa's collaboration with Adnan Sami Khan on Sargam nurtured the embryonic star towards real success. Despite being a current incumbent in playback singing she said the world on fire with effortless ease. Sargam, an arguable hit, was honored with Pakistan music industry award, Waheed Murad Award and Nigar Award. Passion and Zest: The combination of her own expertise turned the crooning profit to pen her own music. The resultant lofty hit "Jeevan" became her key to success beyond everybody's wildest dreams in 94.
The breakthrough Debut "Raaz" encompassed hybrid styles and made giant strides. Unconditional hits Mun di Mauj, Yaad, Tu Agar etc belted in key of her own life were well received. International touring thus commenced and she saw herself at the pedestal singing for British national lottery live with Bally Sagoo back in 96. In the following years beside extensive foreign shows Hadiqa also had the honor of performing alongside world class celebrated acts in Hong Kong's independence day celebrations 97. In wake of her rousing success PEPSI COLA international signed Hadiqa up for a lucrative deal in 1998. Later in 2000 Lipton Yellow Label offered a sponsorship. Another corporate offering came by with Uni Lever's Sunsilk Shampoo and she signed on the dotted Line.
The devastatingly beautiful vocal psychologist conquered her listeners oral senses again when "Boohay Barian" from her ingeniously brilliant second outing "Roshni" became the song of the nation! And never before had any chantress in Pakistan seen such giddy heights of fame and fortune as she did with "Boohay Barian" soaring to the top spot.
Hadiqa's History is crowded with distinction.....and with Rung sprawled all over she has commenced her journey.......
